We are currently searching for an Electrical Design Engineer for their site in the Harrisburg, PA area.

You MUST be a US citizen. Relocation is available.

This individual will be involved with:

  • Specify fabrication methods to ensure effective shielding including:

o Material and component specifications

o Fabrication specifications and procedures

o Joint/ seam design and fabrication

o Penetrations and ancillary hardware for EMI/EMP/HEMP protected electrical, plumbing, sewer and mechanical services

o Unique welding specifications

o Specifications and designs for EMI/EMP/HEMP facility grounding

  • Create unique designs for Electromagnetic Interference/ Compatibility (EMI/ EMC), Nuclear and Lightning Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and TEMPEST solutions.
  • Support EMI/EMP/HEMP Verification Testing
  • DOD experience

o MIL-STD-464, "Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Requirements for Systems"

o National Electric Code, NEC
